Returns and Refunds Policy of Creative Brands

Thank you for using Creative Brands to place your order. Please take note of our return policy.

1. RETURNS AND REFUNDS
1.1       The Company will let you return products within seven days of the date you received them, as long as they don't fall into one of the exceptions listed below and don't violate the return rules.
1.2       Once a client has received a product, the Company no longer has any control over it. As a result, we are not responsible for any damage or shortages that aren't reported within 24 hours of delivery.
1.3       This agreement's rules on returning items and cancelling service agreements do not apply if:
1.3.1    goods and services are acquired by auction;
1.3.2    the supply of products which comprise foodstuffs, beverages, or other goods intended for everyday consumption at the home or workplace of the customer
1.3.3    services that began with the customer's consent (explicit or inferred) before the seven days;
1.3.4    when product or service prices depend on financial market fluctuations outside the Company's  control;
1.3.5    personalised or made-to-order products;
1.3.6    perishable or quickly-expiring items;
1.3.7    where the products, because of their nature, cannot be returned
1.4       Every effort has been made to make sure that all orders are dispatched correctly. However, if you take our goods to an outside company for branding, we ask that you check all items received BEFORE they are branded.
1.5       The Company won't accept items back that have already been branded, whether it was their fault or not.
1.6       It could take up to a week to carefully check the returned products. Once we're sure they're good  enough to sell again, we'll give you a refund or credit note.
1.7       For products dispatched by courier outside Johannesburg (Durban, Cape Town, etc.), customers have 72 hours from courier pickup to report missing or damaged items. No claims after that
1.8       Products on sale or discontinued cannot be returned unless broken or faulty.
1.9       We don't take back or change orders for things that need to be put together, like the PEN-730.
 
2. RETURN OF PRODUCTS
2.1       If Creative Brands sends you the wrong, broken, or broken-down product, Creative Brands will exchange it. However, this exchange will only happen if the incorrect, faulty, or broken-down products are sent back in their original packaging with the warranty, manuals, and all accessories within 7 days of when the product (or products) were delivered.
2.2       Any problems with an order must be reported within 24 hours of receipt.
2.3       Creative Brands will replace faulty or broken products as soon as possible.
2.4       All items must be returned in the same box they came in.
2.5       Any remaining refunds are forwarded to the original payment method.
2.6       If the seal on a tech item has been broken, we won't take it back as this item has been used.
2.7       Branded products cannot be returned unless faulty. You'll be charged a 25% handling and admin fee if Creative Brands approves the return within 24 hours of delivery collection. Creative Brands won't accept returned products without written permission and a receipt.
2.8       Please ensure that you have double-checked the sizing specs as the client will need to carry the courier costs when returning due to incorrect sizes ordered.
 
3. CANCELLATION POLICY
3.1      Written and online orders constitute a legally enforceable contract.
3.2      Once an order has been emailed or placed online with a value of R1000 ex VAT or more, cancellations before collection will be subject to a 25% handling/admin fee.
3.3      Orders not paid for within 10 working days of being placed will be considered "cancelled." If the invoice exceeds R1000 ex VAT, a 15% handling fee will be applied.
3.4      If are developed before cancelling an order, a cost of R100 excl VAT will be charged each layout, regardless of whether we met your deadline. Therefore, before placing an order, we recommend double-checking stock availability and projected lead times.
3.5      No cancellations will be accepted following final artwork approval for customers with an account.
3.6      Collected orders may not be returned for credit unless approved in writing by Management within 48 hours of collection and are subject to a 25% handling and administration fee. Please do not return orders unless Management has given you prior written permission. Our returns department will not accept orders returned without an accompanying written agreement and associated invoice.
3.7      Once stock of a special or "reduced to clear" item has been collected, no returns will be permitted unless the stock is faulty.
3.8      Cancellation fees must be paid before any additional purchases are processed.
3.9      Stock returns must be returned to our headquarters at your expense.
 
4. WARRANTIES
4.1       Warranties do not cover wear and tear.
4.2       Creative Brands and/or the manufacturer of the product(s) are not required to honour any warranties on products that have been changed in a way that goes against the instructions or on products or property where the products are installed that have been abused or used in a way that goes against the rules.
 
5. SAMPLE POLICY
5.1       Samples are available for purchase and collection
5.2       Samples under R50, excluding VAT, cannot be returned.
5.3       Samples costing R50 or more, excluding VAT, can be returned for a refund or credit.
5.4       Return samples in original condition and packaging for a refund/credit.
5.5       Once we're satisfied that returned samples are fit for resale, we'll offer a refund or credit note.
5.6       Damaged samples or packaging are not returnable.
5.7       When returning samples, the original invoice must be included for a credit note and refund.
